Curries is hiring a Project Manager to manage distributor and customer projects from receipt of the letter of intent through the full life of the project within our manufacturing operation located in Mason City Iowa. This position plays a vital role in supporting design coordination hardware recommendations customer communications and material release managementwhile driving $25 million in incremental sales.

What would you do as our Project Manager

Youll be responsible for managing all technical and coordination aspects of assigned projects. Working closely with customers architects contractors and internal teams youll ensure projects are delivered accurately on time and in compliance with specifications and codes.

You would also:

  • Provide technical support to customers and architects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate customer submittals
  • Coordinate hardware door and frame requirements to ensure functionality and compliance
  • Verify shop drawings and manufacturing details for accuracy and manufacturability
  • Produce detailed drawings using CAD software
  • Handle technical inquiries and resolve discrepancies or application conflicts
  • Support business growth initiatives and customer expansion opportunities
  • Meet productivity quality and lead-time goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

The Skills and Experience You Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree or technical degree preferred
  • 5 years of estimating or project-related experience in the hollow metal door openings industry
  • Ability to interpret drawings specifications codes and hardware schedules
  • Knowledge of building codes and labeling requirements
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools; AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
