Job Description:

• Prepare monitor and control project budget costs and projections to ensure overall project profitability and accurate financial reporting.

• Ensure procurement of required materials and requisition of necessary equipment and labor resources to efficiently and effectively complete construction projects.

• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors. Market and secure additional work with client; responsible for the project change management process

• Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support ofclients.

• Monitor/control construction process through direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate and identify all potential impacts to the project and implement corrective measures.

• Ensure productivity of subcontractors efficient use of materials & equipment and overall schedule of the project.

• Initiate and maintain liaison with prime client and A/E contacts to facilitate construction activities

• Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget

• Represent company in project meetings assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings

• Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment rental equipment income/expenses etc.) to protect companys interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Client

• May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution and 10 or more years of building construction experience

• Five (5) or more years Project Management experience managing multiple construction projects

• Experience/knowledge with Job Order Contracting (JOC) unit pricing requirement pricing required.

• Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices processes standards etc. and their impact on project activities

• Knowledge of construction cost scheduling estimating purchasing and engineering principles and techniques as well as accounting principles

• Ability to read understand and interpret contract documents drawings specifications scopes of work and project schedule

• MS Office applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint). Knowledge of industry software (Procure Bluebeam Primavera Estimating Software)

• Demonstrated leadership skills

• Excellent written and verbal skills
