Job Summary
- Masters Degree required preferably in Counseling Educational Administration Communications Grant Writing Project Management or related field
- Minimum five years school counseling experience
- Project management experience preferred
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in the four core components of the School Comprehensive Counseling Program
- Capability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Demonstrates strong written and oral language skills
- Demonstrates ability to work and communicate with diverse audience
- Demonstrates excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Oracle
- The Project Manager will manage and organize systems develop partnerships and support training and event opportunities contributing to counseling services campuses social and emotional learning bullying prevention and post-secondary preparedness.
- Develop comprehensive project and program planning and timelines and monitor progress of department deliverables.
- Establish goals and key performance indicators to track progress and measure impact of short and long-term strategic goals/plans.
- Cultivate internal and external partnerships that provide counseling training and support.
- Provide technical assistance around the development and implementation of technology-based and web-based communication tools.
- Research best practices and developing trends in counseling programs and measurements and disseminate information to appropriate personnel.
- Provide on-going support to counseling coordinators and campus counselors.
- Work with research and evaluation department in gathering and analyzing data for on-going evaluation and reporting.
- Present progress reports spreadsheets presentations data executive summaries and other documents as requested.
- Assist in preparing strategic plan between departments and outside agencies.
- Manage project resources and ensure availability and allocation for all projects.
- Proactively assesses and analyze any risks and issues that may compromise project team performance and develop plans to remove or mitigate them.
- Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain the Counseling Services Handbook and create and manage the annual department calendar.
- Monitor comprehensive counseling program implementation
- Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
