Job Summary

  • Masters Degree required preferably in Counseling Educational Administration Communications Grant Writing Project Management or related field
  • Minimum five years school counseling experience
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge in the four core components of the School Comprehensive Counseling Program
  • Capability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Demonstrates strong written and oral language skills
  • Demonstrates ability to work and communicate with diverse audience
  • Demonstrates excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Oracle

  • The Project Manager will manage and organize systems develop partnerships and support training and event opportunities contributing to counseling services campuses social and emotional learning bullying prevention and post-secondary preparedness.
  • Develop comprehensive project and program planning and timelines and monitor progress of department deliverables.
  • Establish goals and key performance indicators to track progress and measure impact of short and long-term strategic goals/plans.
  • Cultivate internal and external partnerships that provide counseling training and support.
  • Provide technical assistance around the development and implementation of technology-based and web-based communication tools.
  • Research best practices and developing trends in counseling programs and measurements and disseminate information to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide on-going support to counseling coordinators and campus counselors.
  • Work with research and evaluation department in gathering and analyzing data for on-going evaluation and reporting.
  • Present progress reports spreadsheets presentations data executive summaries and other documents as requested.
  • Assist in preparing strategic plan between departments and outside agencies.
  • Manage project resources and ensure availability and allocation for all projects.
  • Proactively assesses and analyze any risks and issues that may compromise project team performance and develop plans to remove or mitigate them.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the Counseling Services Handbook and create and manage the annual department calendar.
  • Monitor comprehensive counseling program implementation
  • Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned
