Job Summary

This role supports a number of key programs within the Division of Trauma & Acute Care Surgery at Brigham & Womens Hospital. The ideal candidate will be familiar with American College of Surgeons (ACS) Trauma Center verification regulations and reporting requirements.

The Project Manager supports Brigham & Womens Hospitals Trauma Program. This entails managing and facilitating required Trauma Program education courses and ongoing support for triannual reverification visits for the Hospitals status as a Level I Trauma Center. The Project Manager also provides administrative support to members of the Trauma Program team.

The Project Manager will also be involved in key components of the Divisions revenue cycle management. The billing and operations aspect of the position focuses on obtaining referrals/prior-authorizations and working through Division denials and requires fluency in billing-related issues. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who shows initiative is goal-oriented with strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills and has the ability to work as part of a team.
