Job Description
What you will be doing:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial electrical projects from initial planning through to final completion ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and specifications.
  • Develop monitor and maintain project budgets and schedules ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial parameters.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams including electricians subcontractors and other trade professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients maintaining clear communication addressing concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and manage contracts scope of work change orders and other documentation. Ensure compliance with contract terms codes and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges early and take proactive measures to address them. Solve problems efficiently to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with local state and federal regulations as well as industry safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports including progress updates budget analysis and change order tracking. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Experience you will need:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects.
  • Experience working with electrical systems commercial construction practices and project management software is a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification preferred but not required.
  • Electrical trade certifications or journeyman status are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems codes and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore Microsoft Word and Excel etc.).
  • Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to visit job sites and work in field conditions as needed.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
