Job Description

What you will be doing:

Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial electrical projects from initial planning through to final completion ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and specifications.
Develop monitor and maintain project budgets and schedules ensuring projects are completed on time and within financial parameters.
Lead and coordinate project teams including electricians subcontractors and other trade professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients maintaining clear communication addressing concerns and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Review and manage contracts scope of work change orders and other documentation. Ensure compliance with contract terms codes and safety regulations.
Identify potential risks and challenges early and take proactive measures to address them. Solve problems efficiently to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with local state and federal regulations as well as industry safety standards.
Prepare and present project status reports including progress updates budget analysis and change order tracking. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

Experience you will need:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Construction Management or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commercial electrical projects.
Experience working with electrical systems commercial construction practices and project management software is a plus.
PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar project management certification preferred but not required.
Electrical trade certifications or journeyman status are a plus.
Strong understanding of electrical systems codes and regulations.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore Microsoft Word and Excel etc.).
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven leadership capabilities and experience managing teams.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to visit job sites and work in field conditions as needed.
Knowledge of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
