Project Manager, Communications

We are looking for a Project Manager Communications in our Sacramento CA office.

This role is responsible for managing communications systems throughout the project lifecycle from design and procurement through testing commissioning and operational handover.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating stakeholders to successfully deliver complex communications systems.

The Impact Youll Make (Job Responsibilities)

• Lead the delivery of communications systems through design procurement construction testing commissioning and operational handover.
• Manage project scope schedule budget risks change management activities and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate communications activities and interfaces across engineering operations technology and infrastructure teams.
• Manage suppliers contractors consultants and service providers to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee the integration and delivery of communications technologies including fiber networks radio systems telecommunications infrastructure operational communications and control center systems.
• Support regulatory permitting licensing and compliance activities required for system implementation and operation.
• Lead testing commissioning system integration defect resolution operational readiness and final acceptance activities.

Qualifications :

The Expertise Youll Bring (Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications Engineering Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10 years of experience delivering telecommunications operational communications transportation technology or infrastructure projects.
• 10 years of project management experience leading complex infrastructure transportation or technology programs.
• Proven experience managing communications systems through design integration testing commissioning and operational acceptance.
• Experience with fiber optic networks IP/MPLS systems radio communications LTE private wireless networks mission-critical communications or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of systems integration operational communications and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contractors suppliers budgets schedules regulatory requirements and stakeholder coordination on large-scale infrastructure projects.

Compensation & Pay Transparency 

At Egis we believe transparency helps candidates make informed career decisions. As part of our commitment to an open and equitable hiring process weve included the anticipated base salary range for this position below.

Anticipated Base Salary Range: $160000 $240000 annually.
