Job Summary
SummaryBalfour Beatty is seeking aProject Managerto join our team in Charlotte. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven construction professional with strong communication and leadership skills capable of managing all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through a Project Manager youll lead a collaborative project team overseeing budgets schedules contracts and client relationships to ensure safe efficient and high-quality project delivery. Youll work closely with the Superintendent Project Executive and design partners to plan execute and deliver projects that align with Balfour Beattys standards of excellence and ourZero Harmsafety FunctionsProject Leadership:Manage all aspects of assigned projects including planning scheduling budgeting and Relations:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients design partners and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships and ensure project Management:Develop and maintain project budgets financial reports and revenue projections; review and approve subcontractor pay applications and change & Planning:Provide constructability input coordinate project logistics and develop staffing and resource :Lead project scheduling in collaboration with the Superintendent develop baselines in Primavera P6 and oversee regular updates and pull-planning & Contracting:Manage subcontractor buyout contract negotiations and material purchasing to ensure cost control and timely & Quality:Promote and enforce Balfour BeattysZero Harmsafety culture and lead quality control programs to maintain high construction & Reporting:Chair Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings lead coordination sessions and provide regular progress updates to clients and internal :Direct project turnover and closeout documentation ensuring all financial safety and quality obligations are RequirementsBachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field.68 years of progressive experience in commercial construction project ability to manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through with project management and scheduling software (Procore Primavera P6 Sage 300 CRE or similar).Strong leadership organization and communication ExperienceExperience managing complex or large-scale commercial success building client relationships and leading diverse in business development or early-stage project pursuits.
