Project Manager, Adjacent Products

Worthington Armstrong Venture is adding a Project Manager Adjacent Products to our Belcamp MD Facility. Join our team we build better together! Under the direction of the Belcamp General Manager the Project Manager Adjacent Products is responsible for coordinating design engineering supply chain vendors manufacturing and customer communication on strategic and custom successful candidate will have experience or background in construction management project management data center design Supply Chain Manufacturing vendor coordination installation and proactive communication with sales manufacturing and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the business.

Salary is based on an applicants knowledge and experience in their field of expertise. Base starting salary is over $75K a year and will be higher for qualified candidates.

Primary Areas of responsibility include:

• Provide leadership and coordination on all strategic and custom projects to be serviced by the Belcamp facility.
• Primary liaison between Sales Design Customer Service Manufacturing Supply Chain and installation team members for specified projects
• Project coordination to ensure products design is meeting design intent as well as ensure on-time delivery to customer
• Prepare project management documents to effectively communicate status of projects
• Collect necessary information and quotes to determine project cost / sales estimation
• Take ownership of strategic outside vendor relationships and orders that would require 3^rd party assistance to fulfill customer orders.
• Review and process new orders
• Issue and manage purchase orders
• Inventory management
• Production and shipping schedule
• Communication between the plant and sales for lead times readiness shipping confirmation
• Manage online store including order entry payments shipping and customer communication (if applicable)
• Update raw material costs to generate standards
• Participate in flow of customer orders between Sales Design Customer Service Manufacturing and Supply Chain team ensuring smooth communication to produce each of these orders
• Provide project specific pricing for sales team.
• Review incoming orders for completeness and accuracy. Ensure that orders have corresponding quotations and validate pricing.
• Identify and procure required materials for new jobs as needed; working with Supply Chain as necessary.
• Assist in NPD through the planning process of newly manufactured items and any required item creation. Create all Bills of Materials and Routings.
• Responsible for vendor relationships and holding vendors accountable to quality and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate custom projects across multiple disciplines.
• Responsible for the creation and communication of the daily manufacturing production schedule to the production team.
• Production Planning and scheduling required to support new orders. The production schedule needs to meet the customer requirements in terms of onsite delivery date.
• Assist in daily reviews of new orders to ensure raw material inventory availability as they pertain to the production schedule and onsite delivery date.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

• Minimum of associates degree in construction management Project Management Business Engineering or Supply Chain. Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Commensurate experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree.
• Experience estimating building products and custom projects desired
• Experience with production planning
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience needed
• Ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed
• Strong written verbal analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to interact effectively across levels and departments throughout the organization
• Ability to communicate and coordinate with external customers and vendors
• Ability to prioritize multi-task and meet deadlines in a time sensitive rapidly evolving environment
• Experience within building products industry engineering CAD architectural design construction management estimating Supply Chain planning or project management preferred
