Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our Proprietary Program team in Berkeley Missouri.
This candidate will provide support to a team representing multiple skill areas which may include internal and external resources and customers.
This candidate will develop statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development ongoing and new business requirements. Works with customers and management to obtain approval. Responds to changes to SOW assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables resources costs and schedules.
Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics. Plans identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity. Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance efficiencies productivity and lessons learned. Provides technical business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans. Works under minimal direction.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between the Program Production Engineering team and Operations translating program goals into actionable project plans.
Develop maintain and track project schedules budgets and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery of program milestones.
Coordinate cross-functional activities within the Program team and with external partners to ensure execution of the created Internal Work Transfer (IWT) Statement of Work (SOW).
Identifies and maintains day-to-day oversight of cost schedule and performance metrics and reporting to leadership
Monitor project risks and issues proactively identifying mitigation strategies and escalating as necessary.
Prepare and present regular status reports briefings and documentation to program leadership and stakeholders.
Support configuration management change control processes and compliance with Program requirements.
Facilitate communication and collaboration across technical and management teams to align project objectives.
Assist in the preparation and review of program documentation
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (a final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
