AI Project Lead
Location: Austin TX 78751 Payrate: $50-60/hr Onsite

Join our dynamic team as a Project Lead where you will drive delivery of innovative AI automation and modernization initiatives for a large-scale organization. As the central point of coordination you will lead cross-divisional projects streamline processes and ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Plan coordinate and execute moderate to complex business solutions with a focus on process improvement and technology-driven transformation.
- Develop detailed project plans timelines milestones action item logs and executive-level status reports.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement by building relationships gathering input managing expectations and supporting consensus across internal teams vendors and leadership.
- Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering to define project specifications and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress track milestones and prepare regular status updates for leadership.
- Identify project risks barriers and dependencies and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Document meeting notes decisions action items risk logs and dashboards for transparency and accountability.
- Promote standardized project management practices and support process improvement initiatives.
- Lead meetings present findings and foster a culture of communication and accountability.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 years of project coordination or project management in cross-functional or cross-divisional settings
- PMP certification (must be listed on resume; proof may be requested)
- Demonstrated ability to develop project plans manage deadlines and deliver results
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and consensus building
- Strong written and verbal communication including meeting facilitation and executive reporting
- Proven risk and issue management expertise
- Track record of supporting process improvement and standardization
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Leadership capability to guide activities and drive accountability
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large organizations or public sector environments
- Familiarity with AI automation or modernization project delivery
- Proficient with Microsoft Planner Teams SharePoint Excel PowerPoint Power BI Visio Power Automate Power Apps or similar tools
- Working knowledge of automation tools or AI-supported processes
