The Project Evaluator-GLS plays a key role in evaluating the Garrett Lee Smith (GLS) Program by overseeing data collection analysis and reporting. This position helps transform program data and community feedback into actionable insights that support continuous improvement demonstrate program impact and ensure alignment with SAMHSA grant requirements.

Youll collaborate with program teams leadership community partners and other stakeholders while helping ensure the GLS Program continues to learn grow and effectively serve the communities it supports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the collection management analysis and reporting of GLS program and performance data.
- Coordinate data collection and reporting activities to support SAMHSA requirements including SPARS reporting.
- Partner with the GLS Project Director and program staff to evaluate program goals outcomes and identified disparities.
- Develop clear professional evaluation reports and support required grant reporting.
- Use surveys focus groups interviews and other evaluation methods to gather meaningful feedback from clients and stakeholders.
- Develop tools to evaluate community training and other program activities.
- Communicate findings outcomes and recommendations to internal teams leadership community partners and SAMHSA.
- Translate evaluation findings into opportunities for program and process improvement.
- Support additional data coordination activities within the crisis department.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of collected information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
- Participate in occasional in-state travel and minimal out-of-state travel for required conferences and learning opportunities.
Requirements Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelors degree in human services public health or research-oriented field required
- Experience collecting analyzing and/or reporting process and outcome data is required
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required
- Experience in grant management preferred
- A valid unrestricted drivers license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
