Project Environmental Professional

We are seeking a Project or Senior Project Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist to join our environmental division in Las Vegas Nevada. We are currently seeking a professional to conduct and manage due diligence - Phase 1 and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments groundwater testing and sampling and field contractor oversight. Ability to conduct and manage asbestos/lead paint surveys a plus. The successful candidate will:

• independently manage projects and clients;
• assist in the collection and analysis of data from sampling reports maps drawings tests and aerial photographs to evaluate plan and permit projects.
• assist with development of proposals.
• attend on-and off-site client meetings effectively communicating with clients and regulators.
• provide technical guidance and/or oversee work performed by lower-level staff.
• implement technical requirements to complete client projects by directing and supervising field staff to sample test and collect data.
• evaluate laboratory and field data and assemble in written reports.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications

• Nevada Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) Certification
• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Geology Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 57 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting compliance assessment or related environmental services.
• Strong knowledge of local state and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance programs site assessments and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent verbal technical writing and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects deadlines and client relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional environmental certifications or registrations applicable to Nevada and neighboring states.
• Experience conducting Property Condition Assessments (PCA) Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and environmental due diligence projects.
• Industrial hygiene experience including asbestos lead-based paint indoor air quality or related assessments.
• Familiarity with regulatory programs in Nevada California Arizona and Utah.
• Experience preparing technical reports proposals and regulatory documentation.
