Project Engineer

Responsibilities:Approaches each project with an engineering perspective to fully understand the intended and document end productCoordinates take part and helps with efforts in the design processCoordinates activities of in-house construction crew as well as outside contractorsResearches and understands the architectural and engineering aspects of the projectsIdentifies suitable partners for constructionSeeks and coordinates efforts during the bidding phasePerforms detailed scope analysis negotiates creates and issues contractsCreates updates and manages the project budget and closely communicates with Finance departmentControls and accurately forecasts project costsManages and coordinates the project scheduleCoordinates and resolves changes with all parties on a timely basisRegularly reviews costs and issuesManages submittals RFIs warranties regulatory requirements and all other required processesEvaluates validates and processes contractor pay requestsBuilds and maintains positive relationships with design professionals contractors team members as well as city and state communicates and resolves issues in a timely mannerMaintains drawings contract documents and provides team members with complete documents as neededMentors and trains other associates to provide the best opportunity for each associates successAdditional duties as assignedQualifications:Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP on the job training5-10 years experience in Design build in manufacturing preferably in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment.
