Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is responsible for management of capital projects and providing Engineering and equipment support to the manufacturing packaging and gummy processes. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager Plant : Develop and manage capital projects from initial conception through closure including project initiation defining project goals and scope planning of project workflow finalizing deliverables and monitoring of project outcomes after project Project plans to ensure timelines are met and drawings are accurate and ensure cost estimates are within developments with the project plan by providing guidance for necessary Operational plans for Projects such as Renovation Construction Maintenance or Machine installation. Create CAD drawings for project maintenance and general facility with maintenance and monitoring of Plant equipment to ensure it is running properly and efficiently (HVAC Systems boilers air compressors etc.).Work directly with site leadership and department supervisors to ensure facility is running and recommend processes that can improve current plant and assist plant personnel in carrying out safety and QC Procedures and facility is compliant with all relevant FDA GMP and SOP regulations.
