Job Title: Project Manager (Engineering/Capital Projects)

Location: Sugar Land TX 77478

Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

Pay Rate: $40 $45/hr on W2

Shift: Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)

Job Summary

Manage engineering capital projects from planning through construction lead cross-functional teams oversee budgets schedules contractors procurement safety and project execution in a manufacturing/chemical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage capital projects up to $5M and project portfolios up to $10M.
Lead project planning design procurement construction and commissioning.
Coordinate engineering contractors procurement and stakeholders.
Develop project schedules budgets and execution plans.
Manage project risks costs quality and safety.
Support contract management and vendor coordination.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering.
7 years of project management experience.
Experience in specialty chemicals petrochemicals refining or similar process industries.
Experience managing engineering/construction projects.
Strong stakeholder budget scheduling and risk management skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree.
Experience with DCS/PLC automation projects.
Program management experience.
Manufacturing/operations experience.
SAP experience.
