About the Role

As a Project Engineer I (Electrical Construction) you will be a part of the Special Projects division you will assist in supporting project operations and delivery through planning coordination and documentation. You will work closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to maintain project flow and ensure quality standards. Projects will include existing construction or Tenant Improvement (T.I.) work on corporate offices tech campuses hospitals K-12 schools institutional industrial projects and more.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Obtain required information for materials selection dimensions and owner/third-party documentation
• Track jobsite documentation including RFIs ASIs and change orders
• Coordinate efforts with other trades and documentation
• Prepare submittals schedules and O&M manuals
• Estimate count and prepare change orders
• Track QA procedures logs and issues
• Attend project meetings as assigned

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:

• High school diploma required
• Two-year college or technical certificate preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite spreadsheets and Smartsheet
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules instructions and technical documentation
• Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability
• Effective communicator in English (written and verbal)
