Project Engineer Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Mahwah NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for the technical execution of capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release. Working closely with Project Managers Manufacturing Engineering and external suppliers this position serves as the technical validation lead ensuring projects are delivered on schedule while meeting safety quality and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers in the execution of capital projects by coordinating activities and tracking action items
• Work with equipment SMEs on design reviews vendor management installation and commissioning
• Assist with equipment installations FAT/SAT and validation activities
• Collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Maintain project documentation and communicate with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• 0-2 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience considered)
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated initiative problem-solving skills and a desire to learn project management and manufacturing processes

Desired skills:

• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing engineering or project-based work
• Experience working in a team environment through school projects or internships
• Exposure to manufacturing processes automation or robotics
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles
• Experience using Microsoft Project Excel or other project management tools
• PMP Lean Six Sigma or other project management certifications

Pay range: $31.37 - $41.37 per hour
