The QGG Pathfinder program brings together atomic physics aerospace hardware electronics software supply chain and mission assurance to mature a flight-relevant quantum gravity gradiometer payload.

Position Summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Project Engineer to drive end-to-end hardware delivery for the QGG Pathfinder program from product-tree and BOM maturity through procurement supplier recovery EEE partsflowdown kitting and handoff to Assembly Integration and Test (AI&T). This role sits at the center of engineering supply chain program controls and supplier execution. The successful candidate will turn released designs into accountable hardware delivery plans and will help the team see risks early enough to act.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the QGG hardware delivery plan/schedulefrom design release through procurement receiving inspection kitting and AI&T handoff.
  • Maintain BOM/MEL/PEL maturity long-lead status part-number discipline procurement readiness and
  • Manage Engineering Assurance / engineering article status associated with partner proposal commitments including action tracking and evidence collection.
  • Serve as the primary program interface to supply chain for QGG hardware execution supplierexpediting material shortages recovery plans and delivery risk burn-down.
  • Work withsubsystem IPT teams AI&T systems engineering quality and procurement to resolve part availability substitution configuration and drawing-release issues.
  • Track open commitments supplier delivery dates purchase-order status inspection status and material constraints against IMS and EAC/ETC needs.
  • Drive design-to-procurement and procurement-to-build readiness reviews for high-risk and long-leaditems andcome up withstrategies to mitigate delaysforhigh-riskparts.
  • Support CAMs and program controls with cost-to-complete inputs procurement variance explanations and material-risk status.
  • Create concise executive-level status for hardware delivery material blockers and supplier recovery actions.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in engineering supply chain operations ora relatedtechnical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in project engineering hardware program execution supply chain engineering production engineering or aerospace hardware delivery.
  • Experience managing complex BOMs released part data drawing packages procurement readiness and configuration-sensitive hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across engineering quality procurement suppliers and program management to recover schedule and resolve blockers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief risk schedule and supplier status clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving development environment where designs schedules and supplier constraints evolve quickly.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with NASA JPL DoD space payload avionics or flight-relevant hardware programs.
  • Experience with PLM/MRP tools such as Arena Oracle Agile Teamcenter NetSuite or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 MRB/nonconformance processesor NASA/Goddard/JPL parts review practices.
  • Experience supporting EVM CAM reviews IMS status EAC/ETC forecasting or hardware readiness reviews.
  • Experience with optical vacuum electronics embedded systems or precision electromechanical hardware.

Benefits

The targeted salary range for this role is $140000 to $180000 on an annualized basis plus eligibility to participate in our annual incentive plan.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Work will normally be performed in an office laboratory production and integration/test environment. The role may involveworkaround lasers high-voltage equipment vacuum hardware precision mechanical assemblies electronics clean hardware and test equipment. Required personal protective equipment will be provided and must be usedin accordance withcompany requirements.
