Project Engineer

Direct Hire Opportunity Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers Superintendents subcontractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely on schedule within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning coordination and day-to-day project execution.
• Review construction drawings specifications and contract documents.
• Prepare and track submittals RFIs change orders and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and internal project teams.
• Support material procurement and monitor delivery schedules.
• Assist with project scheduling cost tracking and budget reporting.
• Perform jobsite visits to support quality control documentation and project progress.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout including punch lists as-built drawings warranties and O&M manuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).
• 13 years of construction experience or relevant internship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore Bluebeam or scheduling software is a plus.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
