Job Summary

Construction  Project Director Sports Stadiums (Dallas TX)

We are hiring a seasoned Project Director to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex large-scale sports stadium and arena projects as the General Contractor in the South Region of the US.  You will own outcomes for safety quality cost schedule and stakeholder alignment from preconstruction through turnover and close-out. You will build and mentor a high-performing team (precon field ops estimating VDC/BIM safety quality commissioning) and drive trade partner performance to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle delivery (feasibility preconstruction procurement GMP development construction commissioning closeout).
  • Establish and manage project budget schedule and risk controls to meet or exceed commercial targets.
  • Oversee procurement strategy solicitations bid leveling trade partner selection and contract negotiations.
  • Direct field operations: work sequencing logistics site safety (OSHA compliance) quality assurance/quality control and productivity.
  • Monitor financial performance.
  • Partner with owners architects/engineers owners reps code officials utilities and community stakeholders to maintain alignment and approvals.
  • Interact with VDC/BIM.
  • Champion Safety-First culture.
  • Ensure permitting inspections TCO/CO milestones commissioning performance testing and turnover.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Engineering or Construction Management or related curriculum and 10 years of relevant construction experience or AA/AS 12 years of relevant experience or HS/GED and 14 years of relevant experience all including a minimum of 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction experience in the field of sports arenas stadium etc.  
  • Experience with large entertainment clients.
  • Credentials: OSHA 30 PMP DBIA LEED AP or Professional Engineer license.
  • Knowledge of large-scale commissioning technology/infrastructure integration (AV DAS broadcast) and public-private development.
  • CMAR delivery experience and established trade partner relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with CMIC Microsoft Project or other CM software.
