Position Title: Project Director
Reporting Structure: Reports to the National Program Director
Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position is $72000 to $84000 depending on experience and skill sets
Job Classification: Full time exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 or more hours per week and can reach 70 hours at peak times)
Location: Remote

Position Summary
Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking talented driven individuals for the role of Project Director who will be responsible for managing a variety of voter registration and canvassing programs in 2026. Project Directors directly manage all members of their respective project team including Operations Directors Regional Directors Canvass Managers and Operations Associates and often directly manage hourly employees including canvassers
Project Directors will work with company leadership to develop high-quality innovative programs for a broad diverse set of clients and partners and will be the primary conduit to our project teams.
Project Directors will report directly to the National Program Directors. This role is in-person throughout the duration of an assigned project. Salaries for this position range from $72000 to $84000 based on experience and skillset and this position is eligible for health dental and vision benefits.
Cycle/Project Based Full Time Position
This position is considered a Full-Time Employee meaning they are expected to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) for a defined period of time typically the length of the project. However RFS expects to provide extensive opportunities for successful employees and contractors to continue on with the company throughout the 2026 election season.
Key Responsibilities
Lead coach and manage the day-to-day activities of the project team overseeing all aspects of hiring training and team member accountability
Cultivate an inclusive culture that fosters learning and professional growth for every team member
Supervise the planning execution and performance of each project emphasizing the delivery of high-quality cost-efficient results
Proven ability to lead mentor and develop a diverse team fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Maintain close communication and engagement with client stakeholders in partnership with RFS leadership
Ensure adherence to reporting and accountability protocols delivering up-to-date actionable data and information to campaign leadership
Travel to and remain on site for the duration of assigned projects to provide in-person management to project team
Undertake additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
3-5 years of management experience preferably in a campaign advocacy or organizing environment
Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule which can reach 70 hours per week at peak times and can be expected to include evenings and weekends.
Must possess a cell phone and laptop
Must have ready access to personal transportation and will be required to provide proof of drivers insurance
Must be able to travel and/or relocate to project locations across the country on short notice; travel lodging and other related expenses are provided by RFS
Plus Qualifications
Highly organized with the ability to actively manage project goals and operations with the ability to multitask without compromising the quality of work
Proven ability to anticipate challenges and troubleshoot issues proactively
Excellent written verbal and facilitation skills
Capable of motivating and managing a diverse group of staff
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and external organizations
Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred
