Cycle Construction is hiring an Entry-Level Project Coordinator (Field Engineer) to support heavy civil and marine construction projects throughout South Louisiana. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career candidates looking to build a long-term career in construction management field operations project support and estimating.

Project Coordinators support both office and field operations working alongside Project Managers Superintendents and Estimators from pre-construction through project closeout.

Work Includes:

  • Supporting projects involving earthwork concrete utilities piling and marine/coastal restoration

  • Assisting with daily field coordination jobsite logistics and project documentation

  • Collecting and submitting daily job tracking documents (tickets time sheets invoices etc.)

  • Helping ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with project plans and specifications

  • Supporting estimating tasks including quantity takeoffs bid preparation and subcontractor outreach

  • Assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling reporting and project coordination

  • Participating in project meetings field inspections and progress tracking

Job requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related program (or equivalent experience/training)

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

  • Basic understanding of construction means and methods

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Good communication skills (written verbal interpersonal)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word

  • Ability to work outdoors and in active jobsite conditions

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass applicable drug test physical and pre-employment screening

  • Valid drivers license

  • TWIC card (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to travel locally as needed

Please note: Compensation is based on experience qualifications and overall fit for the position. Candidates with varying levels of experience may be considered and compensated accordingly.
