Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to support project execution through cost controlling financial analysis forecasting and project-data management. The Project Controller will partner with Commercial Project Managers Project Managers Finance Engineering Procurement Production and Supply Chain teams with a strong focus on maintaining accurate project financials in SAP and related controlling systems.
This role is well suited for an experienced contractor who can quickly contribute in a fast-paced project-driven environment.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to support project execution through cost controlling financial analysis forecasting and project-data management. The Project Controller will partner with Commercial Project Managers Project Managers Finance Engineering Procurement Production and Supply Chain teams with a strong focus on maintaining accurate project financials in SAP and related controlling systems.
This role is well suited for an experienced contractor who can quickly contribute in a fast-paced project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project cost setup and maintenance in SAP including project structures WBS alignment cost plans and project master data.
- Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations analyzing actual costs commitments estimates to complete budget variances and forecast changes.
- Identify cost overruns savings opportunities incorrect postings budget shifts risks and required financial adjustments.
- Maintain approved cost plans and EAC updates in SAP and related controlling systems.
- Support monthly forecasting of project costs revenue gross profit and cost-to-complete.
- Coordinate financial reviews and follow-up actions with Project Managers Commercial Project Managers and project stakeholders.
- Support accruals provisions change documentation ad-hoc reporting and project closeout activities.
- Drive process optimization and standardization efforts to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Experience in Project Controls Cost Controls Project Finance Cost Engineering or a similar project-based finance role.
- Strong knowledge of cost planning forecasting Estimate at Completion (EAC) variance analysis commitments tracking and financial reporting.
- Strong SAP experience or comparable ERP/project controlling systems.
- Experience working with WBS structures project cost data and financial reconciliations.
- Demonstrated process improvement and continuous improvement experience.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with SAP Project System (SAP PS) or similar project-based ERP environments.
- Experience within engineering manufacturing EPC or other project-driven industries.
- Experience with Power BI SQL Alteryx Power Query or similar analytics tools.
