We believe that no level of harm should come to anyone as a result of our ranked among the nations largest building contractors by Engineering News-Record our US business is a subsidiary of London-based Balfour Beatty plc (LSE: BBY).As an industry leader Balfour Beattyoffers employees a comprehensive benefits package with competitivesalaries and more including:Medical Dental Vision and Life InsuranceHealth Savings Account401(k) with company matchPaid time off Tuition AssistanceEmployee Referral BonusAnd more!The Business Manager will be one of the senior members of the management team led by the Project Manager that is responsible for direction and management of the : The Business Manager shall have responsibility for the financial management of the project including without limitation:Maintaining the financial records of the project in accordance with BBII Standard Operating Procedures and GAAP as well as all support functions (e.g. invoicing AP preparation of reports etc.);Providing monthly financial reports to Divisional and Corporate Management;Preparing detailed Project and overhead cost / revenue forecasts;Maintaining a control environment consistent with BBII SOPsCash forecasting and Responsibilities: Perform responsibilities in a Hands-on team environment;Oversees the preparation evaluation and accuracy of budgets and other financial operating reports;Responsible for the preparation and accuracy of reports that summarize and forecast the financial position in regards to income and expenses and budget versus actual performance;Monitor and report actual results vs. key business performance indicators. Provide management with continuous improvement plans to sustain and drive improvements throughout the business;Analyze financial reports for variances from forecasted budgeted and benchmarked performance and provide recommendations to management team;Review operating expenses and provide recommendation to management on ideas for cost reductions and lead a monthly SG&A review process;Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager/Region ExperienceBachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.2-4 years of financial management experience on small projects up to $50m. Prefer a minimum of 1-2 years experience in the engineering construction or manufacturing combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Ability to collect and assemble data for the development of financial to analyze complex information and formulate of financial reporting budgeting and forecasting to communicate effectively with PC skills and software managerial/leadership and financial analysis usBalfour Beatty US is an industry-leading provider of general contracting at-risk construction management and design-build services for public and private sector clients across the nation.
