Job Summary

Overview
Porch Light Health is seeking a highly organized temporary worker to support several strategic growth initiatives during a temporary staffing gap. This is an 8-week project focused on research lead generation and opportunity identification across business development and grant funding efforts. This is a remote position.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development Lead Research

  • Identify and research potential referral sources including private practices behavioral health providers community organizations and healthcare partners.
  • Build and organize contact lists for import into Porch Light Healths CRM.
  • Gather key contact information specialties locations and referral potential.

Community Outreach Research

  • Identify community-based organizations in rural and frontier markets that may be appropriate locations for educational materials and outreach efforts.
  • Research churches community centers food banks libraries recovery organizations social service agencies and other community touchpoints.
  • Develop organized market-by-market outreach lists.

Grant Opportunity Research

  • Research federal state local and private foundation grant opportunities aligned with Porch Light Healths mission and services.
  • Summarize funding opportunities eligibility requirements deadlines award amounts and application considerations.
  • Maintain a grant opportunity tracking spreadsheet and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit.

Qualifications

  • Strong research and organizational skills.
  • Experience with business development healthcare nonprofit public health or grant research preferred.
  • Proficiency with Excel Google Sheets and internet-based research tools.
  • Experience identifying and evaluating grant opportunities strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Project Details

  • Duration: Approximately 8 weeks.
  • Hours: Flexible; estimated 1525 hours per week (adjust as needed).
