Programmer II Analyst

Position Purpose:

Supports the development of high-level statistical analyses by creating and maintaining datasets as well as producing scheduled and ad-hoc system reports. Demonstrates strong proficiency in database management and contributes to continuous process improvement and system enhancements through advanced technical capabilities and effective problem-solving. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills attention to detail and a forward-thinking approach.

Status Available: Full-time 40 hours/week

Required Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelors degree.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of recent relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SQL Python R or similar data-analysis and programming languages.
• Experience with dashboard development and BI tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of healthcare/clinical data (preferred).
  

What you will do:

• Write SQL (or similar) queries for data manipulation sorting summarizing and reporting.
• Reviews analyzes and modifies programming systems including coding testing debugging and documenting programs.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends patterns correlations and actionable insights.
• Verifies validity and reproducibility of quality/safety measures when indicated from multiple data sources.
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of reports.
• Use additional reporting tools such as BI dashboards Excel etc. as needed.
• Maintains routine reporting and data-load processes.
• Develop data-management solutions to improve contract management fee schedules client information clinical data and related processes.
• Build structured systems and workflows that enhance data accessibility accuracy and governance.
• Create tools or automation to streamline recurring data tasks or reporting needs.
• Collaborates with clinical staff leadership and colleagues to determine information needs and to understand requirements for applications and/or reports.
• Assist staff in understanding healthcare data and translates analytical results into actionable business guidance for nontechnical audiences.
• Provides programming and analytical expertise on team projects.
