Job Summary
Program Support Assistant
TheProgram Support Assistant performs general reception administrative support and customer service activities for the Center of Reentry Excellence (CORE). A significant component of their work is providing support to the CORE Office Manager for the effective coordination of necessary administration at both COREs main and satellite sites. This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to the CORE Office Manager.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Greet and direct visitors to COREs main site.
- Providing backend office support for COREs client and partner-facing activities.
- Contributing to COREs culture of support by assisting Reentry Coaches and other team members as they mentor coach connect with and motivate CORE Members.
- Provide general information to the public and other interested parties regarding the activities services resources and supports available through CORE.
- Assist with the management coordination and distribution of COREs same-day services and resources to Core members.
- Contributing program suggestions feedback and ideas to the multidisciplinary team to improve service delivery and the CORE members experience.
COMPETENCIES:
- Office support expertise including reception customer service administrative support and basic program coordination; experience working in a fast-paced environment especially a multi-agency service site is desirable.
- Familiarity and experience using basic online tools for program administration and
collaboration. - Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook proficiency and hands-on familiarity with databases a
plus. - Strong communication skills interpersonal flexibility resourcefulness and teamwork; must
be able to work effectively with minimal supervision. - Bilingual English/Spanish candidate preferred
COMPENSATION:
- $20-$22 per hour
- Medical Dental and Vision health plans. Kaiser and Sutter Health options.
- Paid vacation and sick leave 13 paid holidays.
