Program Site Coordinator After School Program - 2026/2027
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Program Director and Assistant Director the Program Site Coordinator will supervise and manage the program at the school. The Site Coordinatoris responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school-age program (K-8) ensuring a safe supportive and engaging environment for children. This role includes staff supervision program implementation and maintaining strong communication with families.
SUPERVISION:
The Program Site Coordinator supervises the Teachers Assistants and Volunteers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the daily program operations ensuring activities are ongoing developmentally appropriate and aligned with program goals
Work collaboratively with other site coordinators developing curriculum
Ensure the safety well-being and supervision of all children in the program
Supervise support and evaluate staff performance
Coordinate and conduct staff training and professional development
Maintain open and effective communication with families regarding program activities and child progress
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies procedures and regulations
Maintain program budget for site
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in a related field (i.e. education child development human services or similar).
Minimum five years experience working with school-aged children.
Meet qualifications of EEC/DESE Site Coordinator
Familiar with EEC regulations.
Training and demonstrated knowledge of the developmental needs of school-age children
The qualifications listed above are preferential to the duties and responsibilities as listed in the job description but may be waived at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools.
WORK SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
Work schedule: 35 hours per weekbased on the needs of the program
