PSI seeks a Program Manager who will oversee PSIs operational technical and programmatic excellence goals and execution of quality standards by providing wide-ranging operational and project management support to a global project or portfolio of network members/country projects.
This position will be part of PSIs Delivery team a proactive and agile cross-functional team that focuses on providing support to the global network. The Delivery team leverages the power of the PSI network to establish operational and technical excellence in and beyond market to achieve positive and scaled consumer-powered health care outcomes.
The Program Manager will work with network members/country project teams technical and service departments and subcontractors to ensure program/project objectives are met to high standards of quality and timeliness and are in compliance with donor requirements. Ensure the programmatic and financial health and technical quality of a portfolio of high complexity and demonstrate advanced knowledge or provide specialized subject matter support in a technical or functional area (e.g. a specific program management skillset). Supports country project or departmental leadership with donor relations. May also contribute to wider departmental and organizational initiatives and working groups. Within a global project or technical team also contribute to the development of technical documents and presentations for internal and external audiences.
What Youll Do
- Monitor and ensure smooth operational and programmatic implementation and technical quality of a portfolio of global project(s) or network members/countries including monitoring workplans and deliverables and subaward management in coordination with immediate team members network member or global project team members and global technical and service departments.
- Provide financial management support to department and network member/country project teams including preparation and tracking of project country and team budgets project spend and review of financial reports.
- Assist or lead on new business development opportunities including development of strategy cost proposals and technical proposals.
- Lead recruitment training and ongoing performance management of staff.
- Provide specialized training in project and program management best practices and contribute to departmental/organizational initiatives including program and project management SOP review and development and oversee related knowledge management.

- 10-25% international travel

What Youll Bring
- Bachelors Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
- Masters Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred
- At least 7 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of international development international donor priorities and/or health areas required (such as FCDO USAID CDC KFW World Bank Dutch UN agencies corporate and foundation donors).
- Excellent written verbal and cross-cultural communications skills. Relevant language skills per country and program portfolio. French Preferred.
- Strong proven skills in Excel budget management and monitoring and strong financial acumen. Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Project and staff management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within diverse teams and contexts.
- Highly organized diligent reliable and a self-starter.

Salary Ranges:*
PSI is committed to pay equity and transparency. We ensure pay meets the market within each country. This approach minimizes our impact on local talent markets and allows PSI to attract and retain employees while staying cost-competitive.
Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidates qualifications experience internal equity external market analysis and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring above the mid-point of the range below would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth.
PSI is offering the following gross annual salary ranges for this position dependent on candidate location:
- For the United States (paid in USD): $94000 (minimum) - $117000 (midpoint) - $140000 (maximum)
- For Kenya (paid in USD): $37000 (minimum) - $53000 (midpoint) - $68000 (maximum)
*For applicants hired in Kenya: Please note that if hired you will be employed through the PSI Regional Office located in Nairobi Kenya. Pay and benefits will be commensurate with the role and practices of the Regional Office including payment in US dollars. Details will be provided during interview process.
