Role: Program ManagerSupervises: Case Managers Support SpecialistsReportsTo:Program DirectorDepartment:Interim HousingStatus: Full Time Exempt (Salary) ManagementLocation:Turning Point 1447 16th St Santa Monica CA 90404Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 4:00pm-12:30amBenefits: Medical Dental Vision Retirement Planning (403b) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) :The Program Manager will be responsible for administrative oversight and supervision of line staff for this Interim Housing Program for The People Concern. They will also provide strong day-to-day administrative and supervisory oversight and ensure successful performance-based outcomes. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality services and efficiency of programming while fostering teamwork and integration among staff working in this program. Selected candidate will work (Wednesday-Sunday 4pm-12:30am) with the ability to flex their schedule to accommodate the needs of the siteEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Programming:Provide oversight and leadership for the interim housing site by overseeing daily as part of an interdisciplinary team member to provide comprehensive integrated care to individuals experiencing homelessness mental illness and substance with other internal programs and outside entities to provide greater support and assistance to -facilitate client case conferencing to create a supportive environment to staff and ensure clients progress towards permanent supportive housing and psycho-social support to Support Specialists with all processes and documentation to meet funders during crises in a trauma-informed the implementation and quality of the enrichment program provided to clients onsite during Swing that all tasks assigned to staff are completed professionally and in a timely effectively and in a timely manner with management peers collaborators and maintain client confidentiality while following agency state and HIPAA effective trusting relationships with clients using a client-centered approach that includes motivational interviewing harm reduction and Trauma Informed be asked to fill in to cover for staff :Work with Management to create the staff schedule to ensure adequate staff with management team to provide on call coverage for in new employee recruiting process for the staff training completion or training needs to guidance and support to staff and encourage critical thinking self-care collaboration and monthly individual performance evaluation for staff to ensure accountability and professional and Safety:Ensure a clean and safe facility by doing facility walk-through submitting work orders and ensuring that the completion of the repairs is done in a timely in collaboration with the Director to conduct periodic safety drills for staff and clients (fire earthquake etc.).Compliance Policies and Contracts:Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of trackers case notes incident reports client paper charts and other documentation including Homeless Management Information System data and timely resolution of client complaints and adherence to agency policies program guidelines and changes to policies guidelines and procedures to meet the needs of the Expert knowledge of funders requirements and Scope of duties as :High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentDemonstrated knowledge of issues faced by population servedStrong understanding of Interim Housings role in clients sustaining Permanent HousingStrong understanding of life skills programmings role in clients sustaining Permanent HousingCommitted to improving the community through empowerment and dignitySkilled in non-violent crisis interventionAbility to be on-call on a rotation basisSkilled in data collection and electronic databases. Experience with HMIS strongly preferredAbility to self-motivate and be flexible in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionCritical thinking skills necessaryParticipate in ongoing interpersonal and team building skills to promote collaborationDetail oriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal interpersonal presentation teambuilding and computer skillsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors DegreeMinimum one (1) year of supervisory experience strongly preferred2 Years Case Management experience strongly preferredStrong computers skills: all Microsoft Office programsExperience in Interim Housing programsWork Environment:Combination of field and office environmentRegularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 occasion walk or drive to different local sitesWill necessitate working in busy and loud environmentsWill be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and odorMay need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day
