Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Leads the strategic development execution and continuous improvement of the Safeguarding the Entire Community in the U.S. Research Ecosystem (SECURE) Center initiatives in coordination with cross-functional team members and institutional partners.
- Contributes to departmental and enterprise-level goal alignment ensuring SECURE Center activities support broader strategic objectives.
- Designs evaluates and implements scalable program frameworks workflows systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistency compliance quality and sustainable operations.
- Analyzes program and project resource requirements operational constraints and capacity needs.
- Establishes program and project management methodologies design standards communication protocols and implementation procedures.
- Oversees program planning and execution including preparation and dissemination of project status updates timelines risk indicators and key performance metrics.
- Produces and delivers operational analytical and performance reports to leadership to inform decision-making enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency risk mitigation and financial or compliance controls.
- Serves as a primary liaison with internal and external partners including institutional sponsor academic administrative and customer stakeholders to coordinate new initiatives foster collaboration encourage innovation and support successful program outcomes.
- Develops and delivers presentations project briefings status reports and program updates to support transparency alignment and informed decision-making.
- Designs and delivers training programs and materials.
- Provides operational guidance and support to staff and project teams.
- Manages assigned staff resources and operational processes to achieve organizational objectives.
- Performs additional duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in business public administration computer science accounting or a related field and five years of progressive experience in program or project management ideally within complex cross-functional or regulated environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Masters degree and PMP or equivalent project/program management certification is preferred.
NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
