Program Management Manager- Technology Portfolio Operations & GenAI Strategy

Job Summary
The TPMO Operations team is seeking a Technology Portfolio Operations & GenAI Strategy Lead to strengthen demand intake capacity planning workforce management metrics/reporting and AI-enabled portfolio operations. This role will improve demand-to-capacity alignment utilization transparency executive reporting and operational decision-making while leading the TPMO GenAI Hub to accelerate automation decision intelligence AI-assisted reporting and PM productivity. The ideal candidate combines portfolio operations discipline workforce planning expertise executive presence practical GenAI fluency and the ability to deliver governed measurable outcomes across a global delivery model.
Key Responsibilities:
GenAI Strategy & TPMO Hub Leadership
- Establish and lead the TPMO GenAI Hub charter roadmap operating model governance cadence intake process and success measures.
- Prioritize GenAI automation and data product use cases that reduce administrative effort and improve reporting knowledge search risk insights operational metrics and executive summaries.
- Lead reusable AI and automation solutions including Copilot Studio agents RAG-enabled knowledge search Power Automate workflows Power Apps intake AI-assisted reporting and dashboard automation.
- Partner with Technology Data & Automation enterprise GenAI teams resources and TPMO leaders to move use cases from concept to production adoption.
- Establish responsible AI practices including source traceability human review quality controls issue management documentation and support ownership.
- Build AI fluency across the PM community through enablement playbooks office hours showcases communities of practice and adoption tracking.
Demand Capacity & Workforce Management
- Own demand intake work classification prioritization standards and data hygiene to enable accurate planning and decision-making.
- Build and maintain role-based capacity models utilization views staffing scenarios and rolling workforce plans.
- Translate demand signals into baseline commit and stretch resourcing scenarios with clear tradeoffs constraints and business impacts.
- Run workforce governance cadences to manage allocation resolve capacity conflicts reduce aging work and improve delivery predictability.
- Define and govern demand capacity utilization throughput workforce and service performance KPIs with clear data definitions and reporting routines.
- Deliver executive dashboards and operational readouts that provide a single source of truth for prioritization staffing and resourcing decisions.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in Business Operations Portfolio Operations PMO/TPMO Operations workforce management transformation automation data-driven operations or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading demand intake prioritization capacity planning workforce management governance cadences KPI reporting and executive decision support.
- Strong understanding of PMO/TPMO workflows.
- Experience translating operational pain points into scalable solutions.
- Practical familiarity with GenAI and automation.
- Advanced analytical reporting stakeholder management communication and change leadership skills.
- Strong governance mindset.
- Experience launching or leading AI automation PMO innovation or digital transformation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Power Platform and enterprise reporting architectures.
- Experience with responsible AI governance and data quality controls.
- Experience designing capacity planning routines and executive reporting.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira ServiceNow Power BI etc.
- Relevant certification preferred.This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations subject to approval by PNC. If approved work must be conducted from a quiet secure and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in-office participation may be required based on business needs.PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
- Manages and leads program managers to ensure success in the execution of organizational programs in support of corporate strategy. No requirement for program size.
- Manages and assesses the general and detailed planning stages of organizational programs; participates in the development of strategies to ensure projects achieve overall program goals.
- Oversight and reporting for the overall program budget while working to ensure success of the program.
- Monitors and evaluates the implementation and effectiveness of the programs and recommends enhancements based on results.
- Coaches and develops program managers. Retains and grows relationships with service partner leadership to ensure seamless delivery and a consistent experience across multiple distribution channels.
