Program Director-Parenting Center

The Mount Sinai Parenting Center mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early childhood development within everyday healthcare interactions. We create trainings curricula videos and resources for providers to use in healthcare moments with the goal of providing parents with the tools they need to foster optimal social emotional and cognitive development in their children 0-5 years old.

External Partnerships & Relationship Management

• Cultivate growand manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships across healthcare systems academic medical centers foundations and aligned nonprofits. Serve as a principal point of contact for external partners representing the organization with professionalism warmth and strategic clarity. Identify and pursue new partnership opportunitiesthatextendtheorganizationsreachandamplifyitsprogrammaticimpact.

Fundraising & Funder Stewardship

• Lead active fundraising efforts including prospecting cultivation solicitation and stewardshipofindividualcorporateandfoundationdonors.Serveasliaisontothe Mount Sinai developmentoffice.

Programmatic Oversight

• Oversee the implementation and tracking of programmatic activities in close coordinationwiththeExecutiveDirectorandDirectorsofMedicalEducationandClinical Programming. Ensure programmatic priorities are sustained by organizational funding while maintaining fidelity to the organizations mission and quality standards. Workwith the Associate Director of Operations to monitor key performance indicators and support data-informed decision-making in program development and refinement.

Research Investment Strategy

• Contributetothedevelopmentofastrategyfortheorganizationsresearchinvestments ensuring alignment with mission and the evolving needs of the medical education field. Build relationships with academic and research partners to identify collaboration opportunities and invest in projects to support and strengthen the Centersofferings.

OrganizationalLeadership

• Operate as a senior member of a small collaborative team contributing to organizational strategyparticipating in leadership discussions and modeling a cultureofexcellence and mission alignment. Support the Executive Director in high-priority initiatives and represent the organization in external settings asneeded.

• Bachelors Degree required Masters preferred or equivalent combination or relevant work experience and education.
• 7 years related experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience with large research projects research management study design and publications. Existing relationships with medical education pediatric health or broader healthcare nonprofit community.
• Experience in nonprofit development strategic partnerships or related field with demonstrated track record in fundraising success.
• Familiarity with medical education healthcare early childhood sectors--including an understanding of how the Center is position in the healthcare space.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; genuinely energized by external engagement public speaking and building relationships at all levels.
• Mission-driven and passionate about early childhood development. Strong written and verbal communication skills including tailoring messaging to unique funders. Comfort operating in small nonprofit environment resourceful self-directed and able to balance strategic thinking with hands on execution.
