Job Summary

Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications for Appointment at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank (less than five years teaching experience): Bachelors Degree from an accredited university. Credentialed in the profession of Orthotics and/or Prosthetics or hold a professional license in the Orthotics & Prosthetics profession as is required by the state in which he/she is employed. Minimum two years of clinical experience in profession. College level teaching experience. Demonstrated current and contemporary competence in the teaching content area as well as a commitment to service and scholarship. Documented experience in supervision instruction evaluation student guidance in educational theories and techniques. Experience in the effective administration of a university department to include curricular evaluation and design programmatic fiscal and personnel management accreditation and strategic planning. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g. continuing professional education in the specialty area (s) higher education degrees research writing speaking training etc.). Working knowledge of MS Office. Credentialed in the profession of Orthotics and/or Prosthetics or hold a professional license in the Orthotics & Prosthetics profession as is required by the state in which he/she is employed. Minimum two years of clinical experience in profession. College level teaching experience. Demonstrated teaching and learning contributions including advances in curriculum pedagogy course delivery or similar innovation and a commitment to service. Documented experience in supervision instruction evaluation student guidance in educational theories and techniques. Experience in the effective administration of a university department to include curricular evaluation and design programmatic fiscal and personnel management accreditation and strategic planning. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g. continuing professional education in the specialty area (s) higher education degrees research writing speaking training etc.). Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications at the Clinical Assistant Professor Rank: Masters Degree preferred. Demonstrated ongoing formal training designed to maintain and upgrade his/her professional instructional and administrative capabilities. Previous experience as a Program Director Coordinator or other managerial position to include knowledge of performance evaluation techniques key metrics data analysis and reporting. Experience implementing an educational program including developing and growing traditional and online programs in Orthotics and Prosthetics Assistant. Demonstrated student success-focused initiatives. Demonstrated leadership and experience in building alliances and/or partnerships across the college university academic and business communities.
