SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position will work as part of the Sanctuary House team working in close collaboration with the domestic violence sexual assault program service team all under the umbrella of survivor services. The program provides services designed to meet needs related to immediate safety trauma recovery and on-going support for survivors of human trafficking. This position is responsible for direct oversight of the crisis stabilization shelter advocacy and community based programming to include housing services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree Masters preferred
• 2 years experience in social services or related field; of which a minimum of 1 year experience providing domestic violence sexual assault or trafficking services
• Management experience preferred
• Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• *Foster an empowered values-driven team culture that reflects HFSs mission and agency values encouraging staff development growth and collaborative problem-solving.
• *Provide regular supervision and support for all assigned program staff.
• *Assist with recruitment to include posting openings screening applicants scheduling *interviews and checking references
• *Hire supervise monitor train evaluate and develop direct care program staff.
• *Ensure 24/7 coverage of crisis stabilization shelter and on-call crisis response advocate programs.
• *Participate in an on-call rotation to provide crisis support and guidance to program staff outside of regular business hours.
• *Assist with service delivery and project implementation throughout the program.
• *Monitor program budgets and spending against approved grant/contract terms; flag variances and work with finance to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• *Ensure program compliance with all funder requirements including grant agreements contract terms and applicable federal state and local regulations.
• *Track grant and contract deliverables deadlines and reporting requirements across all funding sources for assigned programs.
• *Prepare and submit accurate timely programmatic and fiscal reports required by funders including HUD SAMHSA VOCA and other grant/contract sources as applicable.
• *Maintain audit-ready program files and documentation to support grant compliance reviews site visits and agency audits.
• *Partner with the grants/development team on grant applications renewals and reports providing program data narrative content and outcomes as needed.
• *Ensure program data collection and entry (e.g. HMIS funder-required databases) is accurate complete and submitted within required timelines.
• *Communicate proactively with the VP and Grants & Contracts team regarding any compliance risks funding changes or reporting concerns.
• *Develop and manage the annual program budget in collaboration with the VP and Finance ensuring alignment with grant/contract funding allocations.
• *Monitor monthly budget-to-actual reports identifying variances and implementing corrective action as needed.
• *Approve program expenditures ensuring purchases are allowable allocable and reasonable under applicable grant/contract terms.
• *Partner with Finance to ensure accurate coding of expenses across multiple funding streams and grants.
• *Support preparation of budget narratives and modifications for grant applications renewals and funder-required amendments.
• *Partner with the finance and billing team to ensure program spending stays within approved budget and grant spend-down timelines escalating risk of underspending or overspending early.
• *Participate in agency quality improvement teams and workgroups. Guides implementation of any projects policies etc.
• *Participate in weekly team meetings with HFS program staff.
• *Attend community meetings for the coordination of services for survivors of human trafficking.
• *Work with community leaders and other collaborators to improve / streamline processes for program participants.
• *Develop and maintain program policies and procedures
• Completes all required monthly quarterly and annual reports for quality improvement and grant purposes.
• *Creates maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
• * Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agencys ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
• * Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site
• *In town travel is required includes use of personal vehicle.
• *Is able to work both independently with little supervision and as a part of a team.
• *Able to establish regularity and dependability in scheduling all appointment and accuracy in reports and statistics.
