We pride ourselves on high quality integrated community-based services that meet the evolving needs of our committed to building a diverse workforce that values contributions of all team members and work to recognize cultural beliefs values traditions language preferences and health practices of the communities that we serve and how they apply to provision of positive health We Offer:Competitive Compensation and Paid Time Off PackageMedical/Dental/Vision Coverage401(k) Retirement Savings PlanContinuing Education OpportunitiesPSLF EligibleA Collaborative and Supportive Team AtmosphereFamily-Friendly WorkplaceProgram Director Position Summary:The Program Director is responsible for the administration oversight and evaluation of the licensed home care service agency traumatic brain injury program services residential and home community support services and related daily operational functions of the Center for Brain Injury and Program Director provides leadership of program operations admissions and referrals staffing oversight regulatory compliance quality improvement billing coordination and program development to ensure high quality effective and efficient service delivery across all assigned Director Job Responsibilities:Provides direct supervision coaching support and performance oversight to assigned supervisory clinical operational and support staff; ensures documented supervision and annual performance evaluations are completed in accordance with agency standards and applicable in the recruitment selection onboarding orientation assignment development and retention of program staff compliance with required trainings certifications in-services and competency expectations and follows up as in and advises leadership regarding promotion assignment review and discharge of program participants and staff as apprised of and provides input into development and revision of division and program policies procedures and informed of public policy developments regulatory changes and trends impacting the respective program areas and ensures operational practices remain aligned with those in the development implementation and evaluation of program expansion service enhancements and new program necessary information on all referrals to determine appropriateness for program admission and facilitates interviews tours and orientation with potential participants and their families where the process of admissions transfers and discharges for the programs supervised including oversight of intake coordination and record all required clinical medical case management and program records are established maintained and monitored in compliance with agency waiver payer and regulatory and maintains effective relationships with other service providers hospitals managed care organizations community organizations families and referral sources in the interest of participants and program quality improvement reviews quality assurance inspections chart audits and operational reviews; gains staff and participant input and prepares reports for submission to leadership governing bodies regulatory entities or funding sources as ongoing statistical financial utilization and narrative reports as required by the Associate Vice President and by regulatory funding payer and agency that the physical plant is maintained according to health and safety codes regulatory requirements and the agencys CQI standards; serves as liaison to maintenance cleaning services and outside vendors as and coordinates LHCSA residential and other assigned staffing schedules including coverage planning and problem-solving for staffing gaps where necessary in the absence of the Scheduling in the agency-wide incident review and quality improvement processes and ensures follow-up actions are input into development of program budgets operational planning and resource allocation for programs emergency situations which may require flexibility of time and area of Director Qualifications:Registered Nurse Registered Occupational Therapist Registered Physical Therapist Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Certified Special Education Teacher Certified Rehabilitation Counselor Masters of Social Work Masters or Doctorate of Psychology or minimum Bachelors degree in a related human services rehabilitation healthcare social work psychology counseling or nursing field and at least three (3) years of relevant experience in TBI/disability services that includes:case management / service coordination / brokering community-based servicesfunctional assessment of ADLs/IADLs and development of treatment/service plansteaching or supporting individuals with disabilities to improve independence/community living skillshabilitation / day program / vocational / residential or community-based rehabilitative servicesExperience in interdisciplinary rehabilitative management of head-injured and neurologically impaired populations required. Experience with HCBS/TBI Waiver LHCSA Medicaid billing quality assurance regulatory compliance program operations and staff supervision strongly preferred. Must possess a valid drivers license and access to reliable Skills and Abilities Strong organizational clinical operational and interpersonal skills. Exhibit strong ability to read and interpret regulations communicate verbally and in writing and manage multiple programmatic priorities simultaneously. Possess strong working knowledge of individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities community-based service delivery rehabilitation services and program operations. Exhibit an exemplary degree of initiative sound judgment industry and a comprehensive understanding of staff procedures quality improvement regulatory requirements and interdepartmental relationships. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Physical agility with repetitive occurrence including but not limited to walking running bending stooping climbing stairs kneeling crouching reaching sitting and twisting.
