| Position Highlights | This position will lead the development implementation and daily management of the Family Friend and Neighbor (FFN) program on San Carlos Apache Lands with the direction of the Gila County Family Consumer & Health Sciences (FCHS) Agent. Responsibilities will include coordinating program operations partnerships outreach and educational activities while ensuring all program goals contractual deliverables timelines and reporting requirements are achieved in alignment with the priorities of the Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board (First Things First; FTF). This position provides education to non-traditional caregivers of young children. This program will include programming that teaches early brain development social and emotional well-being the importance of attachment physical safety health nutrition and beyond. This position will be working on San Carlos Apache Lands within the San Carlos Apache FTF Region along with other FCHS team members; and works in coordination with First Things First the Arizona Board of Regents the University of Arizona on behalf of the Gila County Cooperative Extension as well as other possible funding sources. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and technical assistance to FFN providers on a wide range of topics delivered in the community. This position will be provided training and appropriate resources and will work in a lead role as part of a team to develop educational materials which are appropriate for the audience. This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
