Position Highlights

The Program Coordinator Investor Engagement supports the University of Arizonas early-stage investment and startup ecosystem through the Wildcat Investor Network (WIN) Wildcat Philanthropic Seed Fund (WPSF) and startup incubation programs. Working closely with the Director of Startup Incubation & Growth this role coordinates investor engagement startup funding activities due diligence reporting and events. The position helps connect startups with capital strengthen relationships with investors and stakeholders and build systems that support scalable venture growth. This is a highly collaborative role for someone passionate about entrepreneurship innovation and operational excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

Manage Wildcat Investor Network (WIN) Operations and Engagement

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Wildcat Investor Network including investor recruitment onboarding communications engagement retention membership management CRM administration and performance reporting.
  • Plan and execute investor events startup showcases networking opportunities and deal-sharing activities to strengthen investor participation and support startup funding opportunities.

Coordinate Wildcat Philanthropic Seed Fund (WPSF) Operations

  • Manage startup deal intake pipeline tracking due diligence workflows investment documentation portfolio reporting and fund administration activities.
  • Support investment review processes maintain fund records collect portfolio metrics and prepare materials for internal stakeholders and investment committee.

Startup Incubation & Program Operations Support

  • Provide operational and administrative support for startup incubation initiatives.
  • Assist with planning and logistics for workshops events investor programs and startup engagement activities.
  • Support startup intake tracking and program reporting.
  • Maintain program data and CRM systems.
  • Student Analyst Supervision and Team Development.
  • Recruit train supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate student analysts supporting investment due diligence research and venture development activities.
  • Provide direction performance feedback and professional development opportunities to student team members.
  • Support TLA Incubator leadership with calendar coordination meeting logistics reporting and special projects.
  • Coordinate across Tech Launch Arizona teams to ensure seamless delivery of entrepreneurship and startup support programs.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of project management principles with exceptional follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Skills in written and verbal communication relationship building and providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skills in maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while managing data documents CRM systems records and business processes.
  • Skills in event planning and logistical coordination to ensure successful execution of meetings programs and special events.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information to solve problems and support informed decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with entrepreneurs investors alumni students university stakeholders and cross-functional teams while also working independently.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment professionalism and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to take initiative and continuously improve processes systems and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with startups entrepreneurs investors or entrepreneurial ecosystems.
  • Experience with angel investor groups startup accelerators incubators entrepreneurship centers or university innovation programs.
  • Experience with startup financing due diligence investment processes or venture development.
  • Experience managing student employees interns or volunteer teams.
  • Experience using platforms such as HubSpot Dealum or similar systems.
  • Experience working within higher education economic development innovation or commercialization environments.
