Under general supervision the Program Assistant APIDA Resource Center supports coordination and delivery of student-focused programs including the CSUN California Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Student Achievement Program (ASAP) and assists with outreach events and administrative processes. Contributes to student support services and program operations aligned with established guidelines helping facilitate engagement retention and academic success initiatives.

  • Assists in implementing established CSUN ASAP programs and initiatives that support student academic success and engagement
  • Coordinates logistics for workshops mentoring programs cultural programming and academic success initiatives
  • Provides support to students seeking information about APIDA Resource Center and CSUN ASAP services
  • Conducts intake meetings to assess basic student needs and provide referrals to appropriate campus resources
  • Assists in developing outreach materials newsletters website updates and social media content
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Equivalent to one year of experience in professional Student Services work at the entry trainee level.
  • A Masters degree in a job-related field may be substituted for the required experience.
