Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support our team in Detroit Michigan.
The Program Analyst partners with Information Technology and Finance Customer Service and Operations business units to plan track and deliver technology initiatives with minimal direction and supervision. This role combines systems and applications expertise with business analysis process improvement project coordination compliance financial tracking and document management.
The Program Analyst works directly with customers and stakeholders to define business requirements improve existing systems and workflows support project management systems and maintain the accuracy and integrity of business and project data throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business units and IT teams to define business requirements application goals functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Support the configuration enhancement upgrade deployment integration and maintenance of applications and systems.
- Support Project Managers with software rollouts project scope schedules task estimates deliverables and project tracking.
- Analyze business processes and workflows; identify opportunities for improvement and perform fit-gap cost-benefit and ROI analyses.
- Serve as a liaison between software vendors end users IT staff and business stakeholders to resolve issues and support effective solutions.
- Coordinate application testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide end-user training.
- Support application design configuration databases web services and other technology solutions as needed.
- Develop and maintain financial performance reports project schedules funding information and workflows for Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects including use of e-Builder.
- Maintain electronic document management systems and support document control SOPs and process documentation.
- Collect and analyze program and project data and prepare technical and management reports to support decision-making.
- Identify risks and dependencies across applications systems and business processes and communicate impacts and potential solutions.
- Support capacity security data systems maintenance and performance management for assigned systems.
- Research and evaluate new or improved business and technology practices to support organizational needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting applications systems technology projects business analysis or program/project coordination.
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Experience working with business users IT teams vendors and other stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize and coordinate technology tasks and projects with minimal direction and supervision.
