Job Summary
Teach courses in studio arts and mass communication as assigned by the Department Chair; serve as lead curriculum and assessment faculty for studio art program; provide academic advising to students; maintain an active scholarly agenda of research and service; serve on departmental school and college committees; participate in community service and outreach programs; and work collaboratively with colleagues and other programs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Earned terminal degree in discipline (or closely related area)
- Commitment to excellence in college teaching to an active scholarly agenda and to working in a multicultural environment that fosters diversity
- Ability to use technology and selected platforms effectively in teaching and learning
- Ability to demonstrate collegiality and a sound work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of teaching experience in higher education
- Record of publications and teaching effectiveness
- Proficiency with learning management systems and online teaching and learning
