A growing Survey team in Canton is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to lead survey operations and support a wide range of public and private sector projects. This role provides leadership across field crews and technical staff drives project delivery and supports business development efforts that strengthen long term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the surveying and geomatics function including oversight of field crews and technical staff
Manage survey and geomatics projects for public and private clients
Identify and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing clients
Maintain communication with internal leadership to support department success and sustainability
Plan organize supervise and mentor survey crews technicians and internal team members
Coordinate assignments that support project management scheduling and deadline adherence
Qualifications
Active Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the State of Ohio
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar leadership or project management capacity
Proven ability to lead teams and provide mentorship
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize effectively based on project scope and deadlines
High productivity working both independently and collaboratively
