The Work
The Professional Service Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that clients are satisfied with Lexipols policy content and platforms that it meets their business needs and that any issues are promptly and effectively resolved. The Professional Services Specialist is responsible for designated projects with specific scopes of work to be completed within specified timelines using established methods.

The Professional Services Specialist will assist clients with customizing their policy manual to fit the needs of the agency and bringing the policy manual online within a specified timeframe. This is a client-facing role that provides collaborative policy customization guidance and assistance manages an assigned agencys Daily Training Bulletins (DTBs) and works with clients to implement policy updates.

The primary focus of a Professional Services Specialist is to leverage the teams collective expertise to the benefit of the client agency by providing high quality project leadership and guidance and to complete the assigned scope of work within established timelines.

This is done through working in these areas of focus:

Policy Implementation
Apply your knowledge and understanding of risk management principles practices and their application within an agency.
Review agency existing policies and procedures to identify levels of alignment with Lexipol

Master Policy Content.
Provide project leadership and direction in a remote collaborative team environment.
Initiate discussion and provide expert guidance around policy editing decisions in compliance with Lexipols Legal guidelines.
Conduct detailed editing of policy to ensure it is applicable practical and functional for the agency while keeping with the Lexipol guidelines style and format.

Project Management
Oversee the implementation process from start to finish based on the assigned scope of work. This involves setting timelines coordinating tasks managing resources and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Collect feedback from clients on the content and software and its implementation process. Use this feedback to recommend improvements to Professional Services practices and Content/System changes.
Provide training to clients on how to use the software effectively. This could be in the form of one-on-one sessions group workshops or creating instructional materials. Additionally offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise post implementation.
Maintain thorough documentation of the implementation process and client interactions.
Prepare reports on project progress challenges and outcomes.
Meet or exceed project timelines.
Successfully work and coordinate client communication within a remote and collaborative team environment.

Policy Update Management
Coordinate collaborative review of policy updates with the client.
Make necessary edits as needed and determined by the client.
Release policy updates at the direction of the client.
Maintain clients program records and reports.

Daily Training Bulletin Management
Conduct monthly Daily Training Bulletin (DTB) validation and release.
Manage clients program records and reports.

Continuous Improvement Mindset
Provide input on team processes and methods using an established chain of command.
Provide feedback on product lines to internal teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements: To be considered for this role you will have this experience:
Public Safety leadership experience in law enforcement fire or corrections with at minimum first line leadership experience.
Two or more years of demonstrated public safety agency policy management and editing experience.
Motivated self-starter with a record of being able to operate with little supervision in a remote work environment.
Ability to comprehend and present information and ideas as part of a collaborative team environment.
Bachelors degree in criminal justice fire science business administration or a relevant field is required with minimum two years relevant experience; or
Associate degree with minimum four years of commensurate experience in development of policy and procedures and the application of the law to public safety agencies; or
Minimum ten years commensurate experience without a degree.
Experience developing and managing complex long-term projects.

Qualifications:
Understanding of public sector risk management principles practices and their application.
Exceptional project organization and time management skills.
Ability to successfully manage time and projects while working autonomously and telecommuting.
Ability to learn and apply new technology applications within a reasonable time period.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word basic Excel Outlook Teams PowerPoint) and common internet resources.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with public safety agency personnel and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:
Prior experience with Lexipols online content delivery system or similar policy/content management platforms preferred.
Experience as an Accreditation Manager or supporting accreditation programs and processes within a public safety agency.
Experience managing or supporting policy implementation projects for public safety agencies.
Experience using project management CRM or content management systems to track work timelines and customer deliverables.
Experience working in a remote customer-facing professional services environment.

Consistently provide accurate assessment of Clients policies and procedures to determine appropriate preliminary dispositions.
Proficiently review agency content at rate of fifteen pages per hour.
Complete all projects within assigned timeframes.
Consistently provide high-level customer service to clients.
Maintain knowledge of Lexipol content and updates by reviewing material consistently.
Maintain a utilization rate of >75% monthly.
Attain quality performance levels of >80% overall for positions essential skills within first year.
Attain understanding of >80% of the processes identified as essential for this position first year.

Compensation and Benefits
