Job Summary

Professional Services Administrator (PSA)

Lauterbach & Amen LLP is a well-established CPA firm specializing in governmental accounting auditing and financial services for municipalities park districts police and firefighters pension funds school districts and other units of local government. The firm is a recognized leader in the governmental accounting industry and has grown continuously over the past twenty-seven years.

We are searching for a full-time staff member to join our Professional Services Administration team. This individual will support our growing team with the integration of data between multiple systems for the purpose of preparing administrative support for Pension funds. This position will be located in Naperville IL.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to providing fair transparent and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $50000-$55000 but final offers may vary based on business-related factors such as geography experience education skills and certifications. Salary offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and increases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive administrative support for multiple pension funds
  • Scan and file member files
  • Electronically file records documents correspondence
  • Prepare letters and affidavits to all retirees
  • Create meeting agendas and board meeting packets
  • Attend quarterly meetings take notes and transcribe minutes
  • Process invoices for payment
  • Correspond via email with pension fund trustees and municipal representatives
  • Communicate with accountants within the firm and several Pension Fund attorneys and other Board vendors
  • Other projects as assigned

Position Qualifications

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to travel locally and have reliable transportation
  • Deadline driven
  • Superior time management skills and detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated self-starter
