Job Summary
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily manufacturing operations and resolve issues as they arise
Supervise the activities of production with responsibility for training scheduling and work assignments
Ensure ISO/QS and standardized work environment policies are followed
Read and interpret customer supplied drawings
Assure compliance to customer supplied drawing for masking Staking Potting and
application of conformal coatings to electronic assemblies
Monitor work areas to ensure productivity quality and process standards are being
followed
Ensure production schedules are being met and resolve any possible production
schedule issues
Track and report on production shipping schedules work-in-processes labor and
product movement
Engage in performance management for 40 direct reports
Communicate with operations manager quality supervisor and customer service to
ensure timely shipping of compliant products
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the US under ITAR
High School Diploma/GED college graduate preferred
5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
5 years experience in electronics manufacturing
3 years experience in conformal coating and potting
Working knowledge of AS9100 IPC-610 IPC-830 and NADCAP standards
Knowledge of electronic assemblies
Ability to identify electrical components
Strong communication skills both written and oral
Strong documentation planning and organizational skills
Strong leadership skills
Computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Visio and Outlook
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
