Position Summary

The Production Technician will support daily production operations by assisting with mechanical and electrical assembly product testing quality control inspections equipment use documentation and general facility upkeep. This role requires strong attention to detail a team-first mindset and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure products are built safely accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with mechanical and electrical assembly of production products including filtration systems monitoring systems and related equipment.
  • Perform product testing calibration inspections and quality control checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications.
  • Read interpret and follow engineering drawings mechanical drawings specifications and bills of materials.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools power tools machinery and production equipment.
  • Identify and report production issues equipment concerns safety hazards or quality concerns to management.
  • Maintain accurate production logs quality control records and other required documentation.
  • Support routine maintenance repairs cleaning polishing sanding painting and finishing of assemblies as needed.
  • Collaborate with production leadership engineering and other departments to improve production processes and meet project deadlines.
  • Assist with training new employees on production processes equipment use and safety procedures.
  • Follow all safety policies and help maintain a clean safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical school trade school or associate degree preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing production mechanical assembly maintenance or related hands-on work environment preferred.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions mechanical drawings specifications and bills of materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Good driving record.
  • Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks or projects at the same time.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
  • Team-focused dependable and goal-oriented.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time in-person position located in Ashburn Virginia. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Ashburn area.
