Caterpillars Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine Petroleum Industrial Applications Electric Generators and Locomotives. Job Summary:

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of heavy machinery Caterpillar is seeking a dynamicMRO Crib Attendantto join ourteam in San Antonio TX! The MRO Crib Attendant supports maintenance and production operations by managing inventory distributing maintenance parts and suppliesmaintainingaccurateinventory records and ensuring proper storage and organization of MRO materials. This role is critical to supporting operational uptime through responsive customer supportaccurateinventory control andtimelyprocessing of materials whilemaintainingcompliance with safety and operational standards.

What you will do:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service byassistingmaintenance and production personnel with locatingidentifying and requisitioning MRO parts and supplies whilemaintaininga professional responsive and team-oriented approach

  • Disburse and track all issued parts and materials using approved inventory management systems and sign-out procedures

  • Verifyquantitiesand condition of all issued and returned inventory items

  • Maintainaccurateinventory records and complete inventory adjustments or miscellaneous transaction documentation asrequired

  • Receive incoming deliveries verify packing slips and documentation and report shortages overages or discrepancies to the Analyst or Supervisor

  • Stock incoming parts and supplies into designated storage locations including cabinets racks and vertical storage systems

  • Create andmaintainstorage locations labels and bin assignments for new inventory items

  • Utilize FIFO (First In First Out) practices for shelf-life-controlled materials such as chemicals and consumables

  • Process and prepare materials for vendor repair or outside service whenrequired including completing packing slips and shipment documentation

  • Perform inventory cycle counts andsubmitcompleted documentationin a timely manner

  • Maintain clean organized and safe work areas through daily 5S activities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks lifting carts and electric walk-behind lifts in a safe and efficient manner when authorized or certified

  • Support continuous improvement and other operational initiatives as assigned

  • Performadditionalduties assigned by leadership

What you will have:

  • Experience in a manufacturing warehouse maintenance or inventory environment preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret part numbers process documents and inventory records.

  • Basic computerproficiencyincluding Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and Teams.

  • Ability to learn andutilizeinventory management systems including MAMM.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong customer service mindset.

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating practices.

What would make you a top candidate:

  • PreviousMRO crib or inventory control experience

  • Previousforklift operating experience or forklift certification

  • Experience with cycle counting and inventory control processes

  • Familiarity with automated storage systems

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to perform repetitive movements including bending reaching and lifting

  • Ability tolift upto 35 lbs

  • Ability to safelyoperatematerial handling equipment.

Summary Pay Range:

$18.50 - $21.50
