Job Summary

Responsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced high-volume unionized automotive manufacturing environment. Ensure safety quality productivity and delivery targets are met while managing manpower training employees and driving continuous improvement initiatives (WCM/SIS/Lean). Coordinate daily production activities monitor KPIs resolve production issues and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Automotive manufacturing experience (required)
  • High school diploma or GED (Bachelors preferred)
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Union and Lean/WCM experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook PowerPoint Word)
  • Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts overtime and weekends as needed.

Ability to work ANY shift and overtime as required


Excellent organization written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required

Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers

Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Must have worked in an Automotive environment previously



Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a technical field

2 or more years experience in supervision in a high-volume environment

Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members

Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing

Proficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word)
