What you will be doing:
As Production Supervisor you will oversee all aspects of milk production including pasteurization homogenization filling and sanitation. Youll lead a team of operators and technicians ensuring compliance with dairy industry standards and optimizing production efficiency.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise daily milk processing operations including pasteurization and packaging
- Ensure compliance with FDA PMO HACCP and SQF standards
- Lead and coach production staff to meet safety quality and output goals
- Manage Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems and sanitation protocols
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance
- Analyze production data and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with QA maintenance and logistics teams
- Maintain accurate records for audits and inspections
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- 5 plus years of experience in dairy manufacturing specifically fluid milk processing
- 2 plus years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of pasteurization homogenization and dairy packaging systems
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
- Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in Dairy Science Food Technology Engineering or related field
- Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in production software and data analysis tools

The Supply Chain Department has an opening for a Milk Plant Production Manager. This position is located in San Leandro CA.
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location experience and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
