Job Summary
PURPOSESupervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in production activities at facilities. This may include supervision of the plant shop windows or yard. This position is for supervisor employees who spend at least 50% of their time performing supervisory work (not the work of the subordinates).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInspects work areas to determine type of work required and materials and equipment to be and directs workers in projects such as window door trim or panel and selects hires to ensure that department is fully staffed for production workers in equipment production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job company policies and ensures compliance with safety job orders to workers and assigns or adjusts work procedures to meet measures to improve productivity equipment performance and quality of changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work time and production with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual duties as RESPONSIBILITIESIs responsible for the overall direction coordination and evaluation of the production area. Directly supervises laborer workforce. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
